New team mate

One gray autumn day when we were grass tracking it up as per usual early saturday routine, our mechanic came out and brought some fresh meat for the gauntlet grinder. And what meat! The person in question may not have had the most awesome bike handling skills on a fixed gear yet, but she had absolutely no fear. Everyone was astonished. Little did we know that this was the introduction into our life of the Camille-beast, fearsome bike racer and great drinking buddy. Here she is in all her glory, but a little less boisterous than usual. She is doing great in the early season track races, and will go on to great things no doubt (like hang out at Joe's with us on thursday nights and drink super strong mixed drinks).

Holy crap!

Did I forget about posting on the blog or what? (Yes I did!). Here I am, shamefaced in a cave for doing this, and with nothing to say more than that I completely got too busy, and also did not really have much noteworthy to put up. Grey weather, training, and eating. But now the summer is here, friends have come and gone, and things are generally fabulous. A perfect time to be responsible!

Of course we have done quite a bit of this stuff too. We have had a bunch of visitors this spring, but when not hanging out with them, we have been tracking it up bigtime. I think it will be a good year. (Amelia trained hard during the winter, and is now SMOKING!).
