As usual we had coffee and swedish coffee bread---which is a particular kind of sweetened dough bun which is essential for proper coffee drinking. The people so inclined also busted out their pipes. Posted by Picasa

Summer vacation

After dragging our asses around waiting for the last part of track season to be over, we were ready for a break and some sweden action. And sweden action we got! The weather ended up being awesome, with warm weather the whole time. As we had just moved into a much more expensive apartment in Portland, we needed to get rid of our apartment in Sweden, so as a result we ended up doing two moves in one month. If I never move again it will be too soon. But, I digress, we had a fine time, going on adventures and meeting up with all our friends again. There was even a birthday while we were away. More details to follow. Posted by Picasa

As usual, we ended up spending an obscene amount of time hanging out, chilling and going to cafes. A very Gothenburg type of lifestyle. The hanging out was made very easy by the fact that Johan and Susann had vacation too, so we saw a lot of them. They are awesome. Posted by Picasa

You don't have to bike very far to get to the sea outside of Gothenburg. And once you are on the coast, you can bike all the way to Amsterdam on a special bike route. Or just have some coffee.... Posted by Picasa

SS Pussycat.

Last year Amelia won the womens and trans SS Pussycat alleycat, so she had to organize it this year together with Tori. The day had been set to Laborday weekend (just before our sweden trip, and the weekend after we had to move into our new place), so things were hectic. The race was a booming success though! Here, the gathering place by Harriet Tubman. Posted by Picasa
