Gravel sprints

 

The retaard race also had a sprint section, and Amelia felt that this would be a lot more interesting to do than to bike 100km on gravel roads so she signed up. Due to the off road style (I assume) of the whole race, the sprints were done on gravel, with a turnaround.

 

Amelia won her first round, but eventually the gravel won out. I was surprised that not more people fell, actually. It was all good fun, though.
