Kilo champion!

The picture says it all. I am the 2008 35-39 national kilo champion. Moreover, I put more than a second into the rest of the field for a final time of 1.08.986. Not too shabby for an outdoor concrete velodrome at sea level!

I am super happy with this result; all the effort I put in with Brian and the Brihop crew these last three years paid off handsomely. Special thanks to Amelia, who helped out enormously with all aspects off this, including the care and feeding of me on race day! Moreover, Brian's coaching over the past years have been an integral part to my continued improvement. What a nice end to the race season!
